Gift Set

I made this cute little gift set for a gift for someone. I love it!! The card is a Triangular Trifold card (tutorial by the brilliant, Beate Johns). The boxes I got the pattern for at an Open House at my Uplines house (thanks, Ruth). Now, my fishy set gets to hibernate for a bit - Good Night fishy's).

Yes, more fishys

I love this card! I started CASE-ing this beautiful card from Kathie McGuire, but I didn't have the same punches, and then my stars were bigger than her scalloped circles...to make a long story short, the original idea for this card was hers, but I had to make a few changes Hope you like! The open space is for some kind of sentiment...I just made the card because I loved it, have no idea who or what it's gonna be for yet.

Thanks for looking! Oh yeah, if you think I'm on a Fishy-fling, just wait til you see what I post tomorrow!!!!!

Silly Fish for Victoria Enmon

This is a card I made for Victoria Enmon. Victoria is a young girl with cancer, her teacher is trying to get cards mailed to Victoria from all over the US. To learn more about Victoria or to see how you can send a card to go to http://createdbycourtney.blogspot.com/
I used the Sketch Challenge for today for this card. I love this Fishy set and I finally got to use my PearlEx!!!!

Time to play...

"All stamping images, and no coloring makes Tangii a dull Bella!!!!". I stamped over 200 images this weekend for my Bella Sistahs...after all that, it was time for me to play! I had some scraps left over from a card class (given to me from an SU! Demo friend of mine), so I decided to see what I could make. Cresta & Tracy also inspired me with 2 super cute cards they sent me. The picture isn't as pretty as she is sitting here on my desk. The green cs with all the layers on it lifts up like a flap, so you can put a sentiment or note under the flap (on the floral DP).
RECIPE: GardenBella by StampingBella, Itty Bitty Backgrounds by SU!, all paper by SU! True Thyme & Cranberry Crisp cs, not sure of the DP, Primas & flower brads by Making Memories, ribbon by SU!

Feeling "Creatively Challenged"!!

I'm not entirely sure what my problem was, but boy, was I "creatively challenged" the other day!! I just could not seem to get this card to work, everything I tried came out wrong...after several attempts this is my end result. I still think it's missing something (not sure what), but I think it is pretty! This went out to a Bella Sistah that made my day today! You'll know who you are when you open your mail!
RECIPE: stamps: GardenBella by StampingBella, sentiment by MSE; paper by SU!: So Saffron & WW cs, Petals & Paisley DP; Primas; Iridescent Ice by SU!. Coloring with my Prismas!

Ok, a new office means new pretties!!!

So I just HAD to make myself some beautiful file folders, and of course some beaded pens and certainly a holder for all those pens, and oh yeah, a note pad so I can write on something with those pretty, pretty pens!!! This was sooooo much fun, I really need to make some more. I think an altered clip board may be next!!!
SU Designer Papers, ribbon, some bling by MME, Primas & flower stamp (on ribbon) from Priceless by SU!
These were so much fun and turned out so pretty Victoria (the DD) is covering her notebooks for school (yup, she's a Senior!!).

...and some more file folders...

Here are a few more file folders! I love these things...I'm sure I need a whole, whole bunch more!!!!
SU Designer Paper, Prima, So Punny stamps by SU, Yellow ribbon and a flower stamp (on the ribbon) from Priceless by SU!

...and some new pens and of course a pen holder!!

I used SU Designer Papers, Primas, pretty pink ribbon, and glass beads!!!

Burnished Watercolors - 2nd attempt

I love this technique and this stamp so I just had to try this one more time! This is a b-day card for a friend... I like how the technique turned out better on this one than the first card. Recipe is the same as the first. Thanks for looking!
