SC152 - Frosty

Another Sketch Challenge card! That cute little snowflake, charm-y thing is a frosted acrylic piece from Creative Acrylics, and I stamped a snowflake on it with Always Artichoke. It was kinda faint so I cut out a circle of Shimmer White and attached it to the back it's attached with black twine and a black brad (by Stampin Up!). Frosty, snowlfake (from Frosty set by Stampin Up!), sentiment (from Holidays & Wishes set by Stampin Up!), Sage Shadow, Always Artichoke and Shimmer White cs (all by Stampin Up!), Wintergreen DP (by Stampin UP!), black brads (by Stampin Up!), I also sponged the Shimmer pieces with Always Artichoke. Colored with Copics.

SC152 - HuggyBella's

It's raining, it's pouring, my old man is snoring!!! Yippeeeee! It rained today, like ALL day! It was so wonderful! I just love the rain (as long as it doesn't over stay it's welcome, hehehe). What a great day for some stamping (did that), some chatting with friends (did that too!!), and a cozy fire in the fireplace (of course! I did that too!!). So I am running weeks behind on challenges, but I needed something to get me going today so I tried this weeks Sketch Challenge on SCS to get those creative juices flowing! I loved the SC for this week, it is so versatile! This card is going to a "Bella Buddy" of mine, who needs a little "perking" up this coming month.
Supplies: HuggyBella stamp (by StampingBella), Whisper White, Chocolate Chip and Cameo Coral cs (all by Stampin Up!), Dp was a gift, Chocolate Chip Tafetta ribbon (by Stampin Up!), reddish/pink brad (by Stampin Up!), brown Prima flower with a Bauble (by STampingBella) in the middle! I also "sponged" chocolate chip on the WW cs and the "Girlfriends" DP.

Yeah, I'm an Elf!!

I love my House Mouse Stamps!!!!

My dear and wonderful friend, Tanya, got me these adorable House Mouse stamps for my b-day!!!! Aren't they the cutest things??? Thanks Tanya! You are awesome!!!! and I can't wait to color these beauties!!!!

"The Girls" scrapbook page

Here is a scrapbook page I made for my first "Page Swap". I just cannot come up with a layout without putting pictures, etc. on it, my job was to come up with a "pink page". The raspberry paper is by Cloud 9 Design. I cut 5" off the paper for the "pocket", and flipped it over (this is double sided paper). Then I added a white strip onto the pocket (white card stock cut 1 1/2" and scored at 3/4"). The white was raised a bit so the pocket would over lap the "floral" piece. I also rounded the corners on the white flap. The "Cherish" ribbon is from Michaels, I attached a buckle from my Stampin Up! HodgePodge Hardware and wrapped it around the pink. The white flowers are from Bazzill and have Brads by Creative Impressions in the middle. The photo clip is from my HodgePodge Hardware by Stampin Up! The photo on the bottom is mounted on a pale pink cs and then on white cs. THe "tag photos" are mounted on pink cs and then mounted on white cs, with the white cs being longer for journaling. Jumbo Eyelet in tags is from Stampin Up! To hold all the pieces together the whole thing is mounted on a 12x12 piece of white cardstock. Thanks for looking!

WSC28 Jolliest Christmas Tree

This card is for Beate's weekend challenge. I finally got to play with my Shimmer Paper, that I just had to have but haven't even used yet!! Fun card, and quick...thanks Beate for another great challenge!! All products Stampin Up! except for Copics & Palette ink pad.

I stamped the tree from Jolliest Time of Year with Palette Noir on Shimmer paper and colored it in my Copic marker. The red bulbs and the "swags" are colored in with Spica glitter pen (by Copic), the tree is mounted on Always Artichoke. Since I am the only kid the whole neighborhood that doesn't have Nestabilities yet, I used my corner rounder to make it "ruffly". Wintergreen DP strip is mounted on Always Artichoke. Tag Time stamped in Always Artichoke on Ghimmer paper, and mounted on Always Artichoke. Silver brads & Basic Gray Tafetta Ribbon finish off the sentiment. All of this is mounted on Wintergreen DP and then on an Always Artichoke card base. Hope you like and thanks for looking!!

Another Mr. Voila

Voila!

Yippee! My birthday presents came today and so,of course, I played tonight!!! This paper piecing is alot of fun! Once you figure which papers to use, it's a piece of cake!! Mr. Voila! is half colored with my Copics and half paper pieced with Blue Bayou DP. I also added brads from Hodge Podge Hardware for his buttons. After cutting him out (how exatcly do you cut out that mustache????? lol) I attached him with pop-dots to So Saffron cs which had been embossed with my Cuttlebug embossing template. I "ticket punched" the So Saffron and then mounted it on Chocolate Chip cs, which was also "ticket punched". I used my Crop-a-dile (1 new toy) to place the giant eyelets (another new toy), and then put Blue Bayou DS ribbon through the eyelet. All of this is placed on the Blue Bayou DP which is mounted on the Chocolate Chip card base!! Thanks for looing and Bon Appetit!

Thankful For You!

This is my "Thankful for You" card. This was quick and easy to make, I almost feel guilty that it didn't take me longer! I am realizing that I have become a "hardware junkie"!!! While making this card I got to reflect and think about all the friends and family that I am thankful for!!!

All products are Stampin Up! Card base is Chocolate Chip cardstock, layered with Blue Bayou DP. The photo mount is Blue Bayou cs sponged with Chocolate Chip ink and embellied with brads from HodgePodge Hardware. Stamp is from Sidekick Sayings, stamped in Jet Black Stazon and the flower is colored in with a watercolor crayon and blended with an Aquapainter. This is stamped on Very Vanilla cs, sponged with Chocolate Chip ink and embellied with 3 more brads. The Very Vanilla is mounted on Blue Bayou cs, which is then mounted on Chocolate Chip cs. Ribbon is Chocolate Chip Tafetta and the buckle is from HodgePodge Hardware.

Snowbunny Bella

Miss Julie K sent me a couple of Snowbunnybella images and I knew right away that I was going to use her for this weekends Bella Challenge!!! I haven't actually entered her yet, waiting to see if I make another card I like better. Anyway, she was a blast to color and make!!! Card base is Always Artichoke. I mounted my Wintergreen DP on Whisper White cs and used my ticket punch on all corners. I colored Snowbunnybella with Prisma pencils and blended with mineral spirits. The fur on her coat, boots and hood are covered with white Fun Fluff, I went over her coat with my Sakura glitter pen.She is mounted on Always Artichoke with Silver Brads. The top right corner has a Round Tab punch in Always Artichoke with Silver Brads. Snowflake is from a miscellaneous bag of Christmas Embellies, and is tied with a pale green jute. All hardware, paper and punches are from Stampin Up!

Cruiseabella for my DD

I haven't played with my Bella's in quite some time!! Heidi sent me some cute decorative papers and this driving one was one of them. I thought it would go perfectly with Cruiseabella since my DD has recently started driving (don't worry, you're all safe...you're in a diferent state!! haha). I colored her in with my Prisma pencils and mineral spirits (I couldn't use my Copics because this image was stamped for me by somone else who used Stazon...which we learned last night runs when used with Copics). The Prima flowers have Orange baubles in the middles. Hope you like her!

WSC26 Think Pink

This is my first MFT set...so much fun to color!!! I highly recommend several of these sets for every gal who loves to color! I used my Copics to color this. This is for Beate's Sketch challenge...I'm beginning to LOVE sketch challenges, they still take me a while to get going, but I always love the end result!!
I "chalked" the edges of the Loves Me DP with Close to Cocoa. The circles behind the CI Pink Rhinstone brads were made with the Slit Punch by SU! Ribbon is attached with a Silver brad by SU!
