This is Gardner Hanna, and she is my first Hanna set. She hasn't even been released yet! I'm not sure when she will be released, I got her from a store and Kristi told me that she started selling them to stores but it has not been released yet. Anyway, I love her and she is just too much fun to play with!! By the time I was able to play last night it was 11:00 pm and I was soo tired, so this was just a quick card I "threw" together because I was dieing to kink her up! I hope to be able to play more with her this weekend! Thanks for stopping by!

Groovy Guava & Chocolate Chip cardstock, I don't remember who the DP is by.

So Much...

Remember this set that SU! gave us at Regionals? I had no idea what to do with this set so I joined a swap on SCS for it! I rather like this card and all the stamped images on it are from Stampin Up's "So Much" set. I stamped the doodle looking circle on Bashful Blue cs in Night of Navy ink as a background design. I stamped the dotted circle with Bashful Blue on Very Vanilla cs, then matted it on Night of Navy cs. I stamped the flowers with White Stazon on Night of Navy cs and cut them out. There is an Antique Brass jumbo eyelet in the middle of the flowers with a piece of Bashful Blue Tafetta ribbon sticking out the middle. I used the photo corner punch with Night of Navy cs, and mounted the smaller piece on the larger piece and then decorated with three Antique Brass brads. "Thanks" is stamped in Night of Navy on Very Vanilla cs then punched with large oval punch and mounted on Night of Navy cs punched withe the Designer label punch. All supplies are Stampin Up! For a set I didn't really care for, I'm so glad now that I have it!!!

3x3 Note cards Challenge

There was a challenge on the Hanna SCS Member forum to make a 3x3 box and some note cards to go in it...I didn't have a Hanna set, but wanted to play along anyway. I used a Imaginesce clear stamp I got as a gift recently. This set of notecards will be for my Gramma, there are 2 each of the designs to the side. Thanks for stopping by!

March Bella Babe contest

Here is my entry for a sketch challenge on the Bellaholics Yahoo group. This is PartygirlaBella and she is perfect for this sketch! This was also a perfect opportunity to play with my Cutie Pie DP from Stampin' Up! I've been sying to play with it!

I colored Miss Partygirl and her birthday bouquet in using my Copic markers (I love these markers!!!). I also went over a few of the balloons, the flower on her shirt and the cupcake frosting with my Spica Clear glitter pen (love these things too!...I sooooo need more colors of these!!). I ran the Certainly Celery cs piece through y Cuttlebug and then mounted it on Ruby Red cs. The "Happy Birthday" is from the So Many Scallops set from Stampin up, I used my circle punch to cut out the words in the middle. All supplies are Stampin Up! except for the Miss Partygirl herself and the markers/pens. Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend!!

Bloggers Challenge #37...

Anything but a Rectangle...that was this weeks challenge. I made the circle card last night, but wasn't very happy with it...it was missing something, so tonight I took it apart and put the scallops around the Chocolate Chip base, it made a difference, but I still was super happy with it so I tried another one. I like this square card, but I'll be much happier when my "mojo" (as I've heard many of you call it) returns!! I'm thinking it ran away from home because of all the sick germs that have invaded my house for the last 2 weeks! Ok, back to card stuff...
The circle card: All supplies for this card are from Stampin Up! I was determined to use my So Much set (free from Regionals :) ), so I stamped the circle in Chocolate Chip ink on Bashful Blue cs. It still needed something because the cs circle was 4" (so it would make a 4 1/4" circle card) so I paper pierced a border between the circle and the edge of the cs (I had to make my own template in Word for this, if anyone has an easier way to paper pierce circles please post a comment here, I'd love to hear it!!. The sentiment in the middle is stamped in Basic Black Craft ink and with Iridescent Ice ep. The Flowers were stamped in Versamark on Groovy Guava, then stamped with Chocolate Chip for the detail. There is a Vintage Brad (forgot the color name) brad in the center of each flower. Two of them are mounted with Pop Dots, the other is flat on the BB cs. I punched 2 holes at the top and laced some Chocolate Chip Taffeta ribbon through. There is also 2 pieces of the Taffeta ribbon stapled towards the bottom. The scallops on the base were made with my Corner Rounder.
The square card: All supplies for this card are from Stampin Up! This was fun to make. The waffle patter was made using my Bone Folder and my SU! Cutter. I got the idea from this tutorial by Gina K. The stamp is from the Merci kit, I colored it in with my Copic markers (ok, so these are NOT by SU!, sorry), added a Rhinestone brad to the center of the flower and 2 small silver brads to the bottom corner. The ribbon slide is from the new Sterling Silver hardware set. The "Joy" is one of the new SU! rubons. I like the simplicity of this card!
Happy Friday! Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!!
P.S. If you find my MOJO, please send it back home, I really, really miss it!!! :)

My Planner...

Wow! It has been awhile since I've posted! I have had one very sick family for the past couple of weeks! It has just been one of them sick right after the other...everyone except me (so far)! Tonight has been the first chance I have had to stamp in more than 2 weeks, guess what I did...not a darn thing!!! I sat there and stared and stared at my stamps...and NOTHIN'! I hate this! But I have finally finished my planner (and for those of you sitting there saying "geez, isn't it a little late"...yeah it is, but better late than never :) I still have some finishing touches to add inside, and some more sanding to the edges. Thanks for stopping by and I hope to get a little "inky" tomorrow!
